We search the county courthouse for you, which usually houses felony records for the entire county. At the same time, we also perform a district-level search.

What is a district-level search? In Ohio, many misdemeanor records are not housed at the county courthouse - they are housed at one of many different district courthouses within a given county (usually the same courthouse where an offense was prosecuted). Because there can be many district courthouses within a single county, we are not able to send someone to ALL of them. We ask you for the name of a city when ordering so that we can search the district courthouse that includes that city’s records, among others.

Information returned for county-level criminal searches varies by area, but generally includes the defendant’s name, date-of-birth, case number, file date, offense charged, offense level (felony or misdemeanor), disposition date, disposition, and sentencing information.
